The ERSA Express Shockers 95 out of East Ridge won the Tennessee Division 2 State Championship this weekend. They went 3-0 with victories over Stones River 5-0, White house premier 2-1 and a hard fought victory in the championship game against a well rested eager Memphis team. The girls had 80 minutes between their second game and the finals. They fought through and won 1-0.

This is the ultimate finish to an overall remarkable season. They finished off the season with 24 wins 4 losses and 1 tie. They had five 1st place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. The Shockers had a +42 goal differential on the year. Scoring 57 goals while conceding only 15 goals. During this year they had a 10 game consecutive shut out streak that was broken by the #3 team in Tennessee . Which they defeated in the championship game in a Division 1 tournament in Penalty Kicks.

The Shockers are currently ranked 6th in the State and are heading to South Carolina to represent the State of Tennessee in the Presidents cup on June 12th against the other Division 2 State Champions from the South Eastern Region.
